It has been years since I wrote a "personal blog post" like this. I remember writing stories set in The Lion King universe or sharing my views about emo fashion on the internet back when I was a younger teenager.

And in all honesty, that was dope!!!!

I miss the freedom of creating, based on passion and genuine interest, instead of what appeals to the algorithms. I also miss the connection the old internet provided. Even if I had three commenters on my blogger page, it still felt more authentic and alive than modern social media. But since you're here, you probably already know what I'm talking about...

That's just a short reason behind my decision to bring this little site to life (little Evanescence's reference here maybe hehe)

So who exactly am I?

My name is Jovi, and I'm a student from Poland. My plans for this website are grand and huge but also small and simple. I just want to make my little world here in this corner of the web and share it with other nice people. Probably mostly with my amazing friends, but if I happened to make some new ones once here, it would be even cooler!

There is a little box with an "about me" section on the left, and you can scroll down to find a link to my "meet the artist" page, where I put more facts about myself.

As for the content that you can expect to see here, I will surely share a lot of the art I do. I try to use as much of the stuff I did in the process of making this website (the background photos are taken and edited by me, for example) because it makes me more invested.

I will also share the zines I'm making, maybe bookbinding projects, linocuts and other prints, some graphic design here and there! Sometimes, I write (poetry, essays, literally, whatever to be honest — I just need to spill some thoughts "on the paper" as to not go insane). I know I'll sometimes use Polish in those works as it's my native language, and it's more natural for me to express myself more deeply using it. However, I will try to provide translations wherever I can so it can maybe get to more people who'd enjoy it.

(By the way, since I'm Polish, you can expect an "XD" from time to time here! Apparently, we're the only country still using it unironically XD)

Apart from that, I plan on making a completely wolfquest related subpage with my Pack's story and family tree. It's my comfort game. I often play it when I'm overwhelmed and need to wind down and those woofers are very dear to me... If there's anyone interested in adding each other as friends in this game, just contact me!!! I'd love to meet more people playing it.

Here, in the iframe with posts, I will be just writing what I have in my head. You can expect a lot of philosophy and some extra random topics (I just love learning stuff and I love sharing everything I got to know!) Maybe books and movie recommendations every once in a while... I will add some tags so you can search for different kinds of posts (there is probably a better way of doing this, but for now it's alright — I'm still learning to code so you need to be patient with me)

All in all, I hope some of you find something interesting here and visit me from time to time :)) Maybe I'll manage to set up some chat box, but for now you can visit my guestbook or see my profile on neocities (I'm not sure how it works yet, but I'm doing my best).
